Owner and Instructor, Terry Irwin started dancing as a student in 1973 in
Cleveland, Ohio and as a professional in 1974 in Cincinnati. He's a five-time
United States Champion and coaches, judges and creates choreography for professionals
and amateurs alike all across the country. He's always enjoyed the social
interaction of ballroom dancing and the many
interesting personalities he's constantly meeting. Terry firmly believes anyone
can learn and we all learn through encouragement.
In what little free time he has, Terry enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys "buying", not "shopping", "buying". It's not all fancy flying feet for Terry. He was a Junior National Trap and Skeet Champion and got into college on a full Mathematics scholarship.
Kristi Middleton
Instructor, Appleton WI
Kristi Middleton started dancing ballet, jazz and tap at a very young age. She picked up ballroom from her father when she was 12. Kristi loves the self-expression that comes from dance. She loves to travel, read, paint and shop (especially for ballroom dresses and shoes).
Kristi has family located throughout the United States including: Washington, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Illinois, Florida and of course Wisconsin. She loves all kinds of music and her favorite movie is "The Princess Bride".
Jared Sears
Instructor, Appleton, WI
Jared Sears started dancing at 5 years old. He got away from it through his high school years choosing instead to play soccer and football. Jared came back to dancing when he became an Instructor with TC Dance Club Appleton. Jared comes to us from New York state via Los Angeles where he was working as an actor. His favorite experience was being in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Jared learns something new from his students everyday and adapts his teaching style to his students. Though one thing is the same on every lesson. No one has more fun than Jared's students. Jared and his girl, Katie recently bought their first home. They share their new digs with their dogs, Lilly and Luca along with 5 finches.
Raul Luna
Instructor, Appleton, WI
Raul was born in Germany but grew up in Jacksonville, Arkansas where he lived for 18years. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2008. While in High School he was in the choir, where he sang Tenor I & II. (Sometimes he even sang the girls part!) He made all state choir three years in a row and enjoyed every bit of it! He moved to Wisconsin in December of 2009 and started working for TC Dance Club in March of 2010.
He loves every moment spent at work. He enjoys teaching people & he's having a great time while doing so. He says, "Laughing on the lesson is the main part of the lesson!" His hobbies include: playing online games, watching movies, hanging out with friends, cleaning, dancing, bowling, sleeping, and most importantly-EATING!!
Bobbi Jo started her career at TC Dance Appleton as a part time receptionist back in 2010. Her great personality, talents & efficiency helped her quickly move up into the position she now holds as the Club Office Manager.
Bobbi Jo never imagined herself in the Ballroom Dance Business. She quickly became very compassionate about ballroom dancing. Bobbi Jo enjoys her work environment, loves the frequent traveling, showcases, parties & most importantly all the wonderful people she now calls her 'TC Family!
Bobbi Jo is the first point of contact for inquiring minds & loves the gleam in the eyes of newcomers. "There's nothing more enjoyable than watching people blossom in their journey into the dance world." Bobbi Jo is here to stay & is always here to help out in any way she can.
